Synopsis
In 1989, student leader Lee Nae-chang was found dead on a distant island; his case went cold after evidence mysteriously disappeared. To honor him, his friends entombed his iconic black glasses with him. Decades of searching for the truth yielded nothing—until the glasses returned from the grave. Now aging and with blurred vision, the friends adjust their lenses. Their gaze remains piercingly clear as they look back at that fateful day and, at once, look deep into the landscapes of their own lives today.
1989년 8월 15일, 검은 뿔테 안경의 학생회장 이내창이 외딴섬에서 숨진 채 발견된다. 친구들의 자체 조사에도 증거는 사라지고 사건은 미제로 남는다. 장례식날, 친구들은 그를 잊지 않으려 안경을 함께 묻었다. 30여 년이 넘는 투쟁에도, 여전히 진실을 찾는 일은 요원하기만 한데, 어느날 안경이 무덤에서 돌아온다. 이제 안경 없이는 눈앞의 글자도 흐릿한 중년이 된 친구들. 하지만 안경 너머의 시선은 여전히 선명하게 그날을 향하며, 동시에 각자가 발딛고 선 오늘의 풍경까지 깊숙이 응시한다.
